4/10/08,“Politics, Power & Jewish Women” 7 p.m

When my grandmother was 24 years old, she did something she never thought she would be able to do: She voted. She never imagined that a woman could hold political office, let alone be a serious contender for president of the United States. How far have we really come in the past 88 years?
Attend the free public forum, “Politics, Power, and Jewish Women” on Thursday evening, April 10, at 7 p.m., at the JCC in Whippany. Explore:

  • Are Jewish women represented in the political process?
  • What is unique to our voice?
  • Are Jewish women prepared to lead in the 21st century?

Our Section is a cosponsor of this Community Relations Committee (CRC) event.
