Our exquisite quilted chuppah, made by our members, was used in two weddings in late spring. Dorothy & Irv Cohen led the chuppah setup and breakdown crew both times—hats off to them!—and Karen Secular and her husband Doron Grosman also helped with chuppah setup at one of the weddings.

Attorney and author Felicia Farber will be the special guest speaker at the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), West Morris Section’s 2021 Personal Giving Thank-You Schmooze & Author Talk on Sunday, June 6, at 10 a.m., via Zoom. The event is open to all donors to our Personal Giving campaign.

Female Torah Scribe Shares Secrets of Her Art with Our Personal Giving Donors

Linda Coppleson, a soferet (female Torah scribe), will offer fascinating insights into this little-known profession at National Council of Jewish Women, West Morris Section’s Personal Giving Thank-You Brunch. The event will be held on Sunday, June 2, at 10 a.m., at a private home in Denville. Dorothy Cohen and Anne Gorman, both of Denville, are co-chairs of Personal Giving.
