Second ‘Sounds of October Rain’ session rescheduled for May 1

Cantor Perry Fine’s second session about Israeli music in response to the October 7, 2023 terrorist attack, called “Sounds of October Rain,” took place on Thursday, May 1. This session examined how popular songs of the past, including those by Naomi Shemer and James Taylor, were reintroduced to the public in new arrangements, and how these classics, reimagined, took on new meaning to fit the times. Preregistration was required for Cantor Fine’s series.
