Sharon Feigin, a longtime jewelry designer and a life member of our Section, will give a fascinating talk on “How to Design a Piece of Jewelry” for our Personal Giving Thank-You Brunch on Sunday, June 2, at 10 a.m., at a private home in Denville.
“Fire is like magic. It has magical power,” said Carol Losos, executive director of GlassRoots: Newark Glass Arts Center, and our special guest speaker at the Personal Giving Thank-You Brunch, held in May. The Personal Giving Campaign was co-chaired by Dorothy Cohen and Anne Gorman.
Our exquisite quilted chuppah, made by our members, was used in two weddings in late spring. Dorothy & Irv Cohen led the chuppah setup and breakdown crew both times—hats off to them!—and Karen Secular and her husband Doron Grosman also helped with chuppah setup at one of the weddings.
Attorney and author Felicia Farber will be the special guest speaker at the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), West Morris Section’s 2021 Personal Giving Thank-You Schmooze & Author Talk on Sunday, June 6, at 10 a.m., via Zoom. The event is open to all donors to our Personal Giving campaign.
NCJW, West Morris tributes are a wonderful way to send congratulations on an engagement, a wedding, a new baby, a promotion, a graduation, or any other good news. They work as thank-you notes, too. Use our tributes to express sympathy and condolences as well.
Everyone had a great time at our Latke Challenge & Hanukkah Bazaar, held at the lovely home of Sharon & Les Feigin. Latke judges Ilene Dorf Manahan and Donna Gross sampled all the latke offerings. Results? A tie! EXCELLENCE from all entrants!

Linda Coppleson, one of only about half a dozen female scribes in the world who are actively engaged in Torah writing, shared the secrets of writing a Torah with donors to our Personal Giving Campaign.
Members and friends of National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW), West Morris Section, enjoyed a fund-raising evening out at the Community Theatre in Morristown, when they attended “The World of Musicals.”
I am totally impressed by the beautiful and amazing work that the Section is doing. The new programs and the continuing work to help women, children and families are important and should make all members very proud. I am happy to support these efforts....
